1. What DIFFERIN is and what it is used for
DIFFERIN is a white homogeneous gel presented in 30 gram polyethylene tubes.
It is used in the external treatment of moderate acne (pimples).
2. Things to consider before using
DO NOT USE DIFFERIN in the following situations
If:
If you are allergic or hypersensitive to the active substance adapalene or any component of DIFFERIN,
USE DIFFERIN CAREFULLY in the following situations
Increasing the amounts used will not increase the effect or speed of action of your medicine, but may cause skin redness, peeling or discomfort. Due to the activity of the medicine, this gel normally irritates the skin. Several measures should be taken to reduce this problem. While using the medicine, avoid contact with your eyes, eyelids, nostrils and mouth. If accidental contact occurs, wash thoroughly with water. If you have already been treated with other local exfoliative (used to exfoliate the skin) preparations before this treatment, wait until the irritation on your skin subsides before starting this treatment. Exposure to sunlight and ultraviolet lamps causes additional damage. Therefore, avoid exposure as much as possible during treatment. However, exposure was minimized (wearing a hat, sunscreen)
treatment) and if the time between applications has been adjusted, the treatment can be continued. If there is an unusual exposure to the sun (for example, a day at the beach), do not apply DIFFERIN the day before, on the same day, and the day after. If previous exposure has caused burns (sunburns), wait for these burns to heal completely before starting your treatment. Cleanse astringent cosmetics and drying or irritating products (such as perfumed or alcohol-containing products) that may cause additional irritation.Do not use together with DIFFERİN.You can use any make-up or moisturizer of your choice (ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice), provided you choose from tested noncomedogenic (do not cause blackheads) products.
